Smashing Magazine recently announced its long-awaited list of the 50 Most Beautiful Blog Designs on the web. I was proud to have one of my designs listed among the 50.
08-08-08 Earth Goods Natural Foods launches its premier Web site. The site, which showcases the client's store, product line and community, features both a blog and full Content Management System.
Announcing the launch FaithFacts.org ver 2.0. My mom designed the original FaithFacts site 9 years ago, which is about 20 web years. It was definitely time for some modernization. The clients still loved the original design and wanted something similar, so I came up with this.
Announcing the launch of a new site for The Boutique Bridal | The Loft, specializing in bridal, special occasion and pageant apparel and accessories. The site represents the premiere online presence for a long-established physical store.
I am pleased to announce that the Dahl Mountain Photo Contest has selected one of my photos to be included in its annual contest and gallery exhibit. With just 29 photos selected from over 240 entries this year, it's quite an honor to be included. You may view my entry here.

design passion
I entered into the design field at an early age with Photoshop, because my mother worked at our local newspaper designing ads. That was Photoshop version 3, just to give you some perspective. I'd been bitten by the familial "design bug"! After that, I branched out into page design, logo creation, photography and Web design. I've come to believe there is great power wielded by the visual design of everything around us. Never has it been more important for designers to hone their skills and study their craft, in order to use the art of design to its fullest potential.
